    I have mixed feelings about this place. First the positives. Decor and cleanliness was good. The rooms were very nice and location is convenient. Some of the staff were very nice, while others seemed indifferent and acted like I was bothering them when asking questions about how things worked. The staff was pleasant overall...

    Now the bad. This sound system in our room was TERRIBLE. We tried to get the staff to fix it, but they gave up and left. The speakers had the audio quality of a megaphone, absolutely no low end or bass. The karaoke system itself has a Chinese interface with no option for English translation. Instead, the staff has placed little stickers around the touch screen to give you guidance. I asked one staff member how to adjust the volume, I was told that they already showed someone else in my group how to do that (implying that I should ask them). There is a little iPad that is used to create food and drink orders. Apparently, this one iPad is shared by all the rooms, so the staff came and took it. This meant we could not order more food and drink without tracking down a staff member. Too bad; we would have spent more money if ordering was more convenient.

    I’m giving this place 3 out of 5 stars because despite the negatives, we had a good time. But then, we would have had a good time just the same had we stayed home and did karaoke in my living room. Next time, we will do just that.
