  I have never been so disappointed and unable to do anything about it like I am right now with the experience I just had. I stopped at this store right before getting home so that I could purchase a food dish for dinner.
  
  Unfortunately, the food was completely inedible, and because there are torrential rains I couldn't go back out to return it.
  
  The bacalao (cod fish stew) was so salty it was like eating a bowl of pure salt. The plantains in syrup were spicy and I was not informed of that fact. I can't have spicy food because of my medical condition and the split pea soup tasted rancid, almost bitter.
  
  Aside from the terrible food, the service was less than adequate. Yes the servers made eye contact but didn't offer any words, making about 7 or 8 of us wait unnecessarily. They were just walking around behind the counter talking amongst themselves.
  
  Horrible experience all together.
