  I am a former trainer for this business. From my perspective, this system can be effective for those who seek to lose weight and have been generally sedative most of their life. If you are more athletic and seek to tone or lose a small amount of weight you will need a to put in additional training effort.
  
  I hold a bachelors degree in exercise physiology, a minor in sport psychology, a certification in personal training, and exercise physiology, backed with nearly a decade of training experience. I don't entirely agree with the exercises offered and as a trainer, I have no say in how those exercises are implemented. Thankfully, I only worked for this company part-time.
  
  Unfortunately, the business is not run in a professional manner. I started working for the company in early October. I received two payment for October via hand written checks, however my first payment in November was returned with insufficient funds. As a result, my own bank charged me a penalty fee. At this point, my next payment was already over a week late. I kindly explained to the head trainer that I will no longer continue to train classes if I was not going to be paid for my work. The head trainer claimed that I was somehow responsible for being paid with a check that bounced for not alerting them that the check had bounced. This made little sense to me.
  
  Rather than paying me, the owner claimed via text message that she had sufficient funds in her account however she will need to wait for "other" checks to clear before she could pay me. She then stated via text message that she would contact me when she had my payment. I kept track of what classes I trained and when. Unfortunately there is no official system to track classes and client attendance other than Facebook "check-in" times, which I have saved.
  
  When I later addressed the issue of my not being paid, the owner specifically told me via text once again to never contact her. She stated that she would contact me when she had my payments. Fast forward nearly three months and I have still not been paid the five weeks of work (including working on thanksgiving) that I am owed. I suspect they simply hope I will forget and fade away. I am now in the process of legal services to file suite for my payments. There have been more than a few resignations from the start of this company. It is unfortunate, however if this is how they treat an employee, one can only speculate how they treat clients.

  The day after I posted this review, I received a call from the business owner. She claimed to have my payments in a voicemail and text. At the behest of legal advice, I calculated the amount owed took off 10% in the interest of fostering amnesty in hopes of avoiding a debate on the amount owed. She admitted that she actually owed a greater amount but will instead pay the decreased amount. She wanted me to pick the check up from her business, however due to subtle threatening comments she made, I asked that the funds be electronically transferred and provided the relevant bank info. She still refused to pay. A few days later, she claims to have recently noticed this review. She called me juvenile, reckless, and stated she will NOT pay me the money she admits to owing numerous times via text message and voicemail until I remove this review.
